TREE Consulting recently took part in the Grand Rendez-vous de l’Innovation de la Capitale-Nationale, a flagship event bringing together startups, SMEs, public players and investors to discuss the challenges of innovation. One of the highlights? A fascinating conference on the economy of functionality, where Amaury de Foresta, founding president of TREE Consulting, spoke alongside Mario Rousseau (Intellinox Technologies) and Kevin Pochon (Qu\u00e9bec International). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rethinking our business models: selling differently<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, innovation is not just about technology, but also about the way we design our business models. The economy of functionality encourages companies not just to sell a product, but to value use and performance. An approach that not only reduces waste, but also optimizes resources and improves customer satisfaction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The discussions provided answers to several key questions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n How do you build a virtuous business model when the primary objective is sales? The idea is to move from a logic of possession to a logic of service, by rethinking the value chain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n How do you involve internal and external stakeholders in this transformation? Who do you need to convince first – managers, employees, investors, customers? <\/p>\n\n\n\n What are the concrete benefits of a sustainable model, and how can we measure its profitability?
