Emmanuel R. Goffi is an artificial intelligence ethicist. He is head of the Ethics, Management, Personal and Professional Projects department, and a professor at Isep – Ecole d’Ingénieurs du Numérique in Paris.
He is also an ethics expert and sherpa, and has worked with numerous companies and organizations in France and abroad, advising them on how to integrate ethics into their digital-related activities.
D. in Political Science from Sciences Po CERI, he is also a research associate at centers in Morocco, Brazil, Canada and Iran.
He has taught at several institutions in France, Canada and Germany, and written numerous articles on ethics applied to artificial intelligence.
He is regularly invited to speak at conferences, expert meetings and ethics committees around the world.
His work focuses on the development of artificial intelligence systems and the ethical issues they raise.

Marc-Antoine Dilhac (agrégé de philosophie, doctorate from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) is a professor in the Department of Philosophy at Université de Montréal.
After holding the Canada Research Chair in Public Ethics and Political Theory (2014-2019), he is a recipient of a Canada-CIFAR Chair in AI (Ethics and Governance of AI) and participates in the pan-Canadian AI startup as a member of the Government of Canada’s AI Advisory Council (GoC ) and co-lead its Public Awareness Working Group.
Since 2019, he has been director of Algora Lab (Université de Montréal) at Mila. He acts as Director of Governance and International Collaboration for OBVIA (International Observatory on the Societal Impacts of AI), and is a member of IVADO.
In 2017, he initiated the Montreal Declaration for the Responsible Development of AI, for which he headed the scientific committee.
Then, in 2020, on behalf of UNESCO, he led an international deliberation process on the Recommendation on the Ethics of AI.
In 2021, he is advising the Council of Europe (Ad hoc Committee on Artificial Intelligence, CAHAI), overseeing and analyzing the European consultation for the establishment of a legal instrument regulating the use of AI.
Between 2019 and 2023, he acts as an expert to several international organizations such as the OECD and to the AI working group responsible for the Global Partnership on AI. He has also been advising the international organization ICESCO since 2023.
From 2015 to 2020, he was head of ethics for construction company Tetra Tech.
